Code of Ethics
The reputation that the Group has built over its century-long history is also based on compliance with ethical standards defined by laws, regulations and codes of conduct in the daily activities of all its companies.
In 2021, the Board of Directors approved, as an integral component of the Organization, Management and Control Model, a first Code of Ethics intended for Savio S.p.A.’s directors, employees and collaborators.
The ethical principles to be observed focused on the areas of working relations within the Company and relations with institutions and public officials, recalling in a very concise manner principles on business relations, competition, suppliers and health, safety and the environment.
Adhering to the UN Global Compact ‘UNGC’“, Savio Group also works together with UN agencies, trade union groups and civil society.
With the adoption of the new code of ethics, the Savio Group’s new sustainable policy began, bringing together ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environmental sustainability and anti-corruption..
The Code of Ethics therefore indicates the set of principles and lines of conduct to which Savio’s directors, employees and collaborators must adhere in the context of their respective functions and work activities.
The principles of the Code of Ethics constitute exemplifying specifications of the general obligations of diligence, fairness and loyalty that must govern the performance of work services and behaviour in the working environment related to the Savio Group.
The provisions of the Code of Ethics are considered an integral part of the contractual obligations assumed by the addressees, the violation of which constitutes a breach of contractual obligations with all legal consequences, including termination of the contract or assignment and possible compensation for damages.
